Linda Somers
Linda is never happier than with a trumpet, cornet or flugelhorn in her hand and has recently taken up the French horn too – although she is happy to leave that seat in Cactus Brass to others!
Andrea Day
Andrea was one of the founding members of Cactus Brass, though in those days she played trombone rather than trumpet. Today she can mostly be found in our trumpet section but is still happy to dust off the trombone when we’re short.
Isla Pavey
A multi-talented musician who joined the trumpet section during the Covid-19 pandemic, although she regularly brings a little something different to the group with her saxophone.
Gaynor Popplestone
In addition to playing trumpet and flugelhorn with Cactus Brass, Gaynor also runs her own Little Big Band.
